Abstract :
The orthogonal frequency division multiplex technique has recently been attracting considerable interest especially for next generation mobile systems. In this paper, a rough timing recovery method based on a special synchronization frame structure is proposed. Simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm exhibits a moderate implementational complexity and high robustness against both channel noise and time selective fading.
