Abstract :
Although currently there are several activities that are focused on a unified way to project and administrate fieldbus systems the planning and management of these systems in the sense of a comprehensive infrastructure is not possible yet. In this paper a first approach for the integration of different fieldbus systems into the technical facility management shall be demonstrated. This integration shall be realized using standardized mechanisms like OPC technology and common object definitions for different fieldbus systems
