Abstract :
This paper considers the problem of deploying mobile sensors into an existing wireless sensor network, to adjust the network topology and enhance its performance, i.e., coverage and connectivity. A key problem of constructing a location-aware system is to deploy sensors based on detection requirements and is able to reconfigure. This paper designs, implements and analyses an algorithm to deploy a few mobile sensors to cover a maximum detection area, while keeping the maximum connectivity.
