Abstract :
The integral representation for the phase shifts is obtained with the help of the far-field integral representation for scattered wave fields. The phase shifts are determined numerically for several shapes of scatterers by using the integral representation of the phase shifts. Experimental measurement supports numerical results. An application to shape reconstruction is shown from the knowledge of phase shifts
