Abstract
Following a review of recent advances in the development of optical reflectometry, a novel optical coherence domain reflectometry (OCDR) by use of an optical frequency comb (OFC) source is proposed and demonstrated with high spatial resolution (<; 10 cm), large dynamic range (>;45 dB), and short measurement time (≤ 10 s).
