Abstract
This paper investigated the transmission performance of the transmitting site diversity for an improvement of a transmission characteristic in continuous road-to-vehicle communication systems. We study two kinds of method of presuming a transmitted signal with a decision feedback equalizer, and the method of using space-time block coding and decoding. We performed the transmission performance of the systems changing the conditions of the BS antenna height, the large-size vehicle ratio, and the lane by computer simulation. As a result, it was shown clearly that the transmission performance of the transmitting site diversity is much better than that of the single transmission system. Moreover, the transmission performance of the transmitting site diversity with STBC has become better than that of the transmitting site diversity with DFE
