Abstract :
This paper develops a technique for the registration of multi-sensor/multi-modality images to 3-D models utilizing the keyhole markup language (KML) encoding standard. Given the recent advancements in visualization of geographic information utilizing such software tools as Google earth, microsoft virtual earth, and NASA´s Worldwind, it is becoming increasingly necessary to understand and utilize the capabilities of these impressive software tools in the field of remote sensing.
