  • Abstract
    HG is a principal interface device to connect digital home devices of private domain to access network of public domain. HG in the paper is with optical interface as a backbone network access and with UWB interface as an Ad Hoc services access. MB UWB signal based analogy sub-carriers modulation modulates Laser Diode with intensity modulation. OCML consists of an open ended microstrip line with a GaAs substrate as E/O demodulator. The device performance of GaAs substrate is better than that of Ge-on-Si, SiGe/Si, and Si. The research shows that the system with these components is much feasible.
