  • Abstract
At present the systems of cellular communications of the third generation start to develop. These systems give a flexible multimedia opportunity. One of the basic standards of the third generation is WCDMA (wideband code division multiple access) which will be widely applied in Europe, Asia, including Japan and Korea, in the coordinated band in a range about 2 GHz. As against FDMA and TDMA where energy of a signal concentrates on the chosen frequencies or time intervals, signals CDMA are distributed in continuous time-and-frequency space. Thus, actually the method manipulates both frequency, and time, and energy. The purpose of the given work is consideration of ways of an estimation of capacity and throughput of network WCDMA.
