Abstract :
We propose and demonstrate that arbitrary bandwidth Brillouin slow light with multi-longitudinal Brillouin pump. In the experiment the multi-longitudinal laser is SOA-based fiber laser with 10-MHz mode spacing and 2-GHz bandwidth. And 500-ps delay of 1-GHz pulse is achieved with such the 400-mW multi-longitudinal Brillouin pump.
