Abstract
A new soft-switching DC-DC converter with only one active switch, operating at a constant switching frequency and with minimum current and voltage stress is proposed. The conduction losses are minimized because of the minimum number of elements in the path of direct energy transfer from the input to the load. Because only one switch is used, the design of the control circuit is greatly simplified
