Abstract :
We have a Quality Assurance Center (QAC) in the head office, in order to improve maintenance activities and for the improvement of reliability in telecommunications power and air-conditioning facilities, effective maintenance activity, and rapid customer service in case of unit failure or disaster. Further, QAC has been directly supporting all maintenance centers nationwide to implement their facility maintenance activities. The quality management system for implementing effective maintenance activities collects field information which is analyzed by QAC. The analyzed results are then fedback to development divisions, manufacturers, and maintenance centers for the prevention of future failures and to improve facilities, which serves the purpose of maintaining and improving facility reliability and effective maintenance activity. In this report, we explain the collection and analysis methods. We also indicate our reliability design concept for power and air-conditioning facilities and give a reliability evaluation of the facility based on actual field information. Several examples applied to the concept and evaluation are also introduced for future improvement of the facility
