Abstract :
The tight upper bound on the bit error probability is obtained theoretically. The bit error probability is also calculated by simulation. These results show that the degradation due to the polar quantizing is relatively small even in a Rayleigh fading channel. Since the polar quantizing decoding is simple to implement, this scheme is efficient on mobile communication systems
