Abstract :
Task analysis is a critical step in understanding a complex domain. To ensure quality results, tedious and expensive manual validation is often performed. SAVVII is an automated prototype that functions as an aid to knowledge elicitors as they translate task concepts from domain experts to knowledge engineers. Through conflict resolution, assimilation, validation, acceptance, and management of this imperfect knowledge, task data evolves into task holofacts that are useful to other engineering lifecycle systems
