  • Abstract
    Some special problems of power system protection under conditions of high impedance faults are discussed in this paper. The performance of the conventional protection principles under HIF are analyzed and the basic requirements for protection under HIF conditions are introduced. Two new technical schemes to resolve this problem are suggested and the effects of these methods are given
