  • Abstract
    Basing on features of industrial design, computer-aided text used in industrial design was mentioned in this study. Basic concepts of computer-aided industrial design (CAIT) were analyzed; According to the features of curve sketching of molds in industrial design, three-dimensional transformation of graphics in industrial design was discussed, and computation methods on the rotating transformation, the translational transformation and the perspective transformation of graphics were analyzed; Bizier-curve used in contour representation of products was studied, and a method of cubic spline interpolation used in contour representation of mold structure was stated; Models of mold design by using an optical geometric calibration method in the computer vision area of CAIT were elaborated, which also being checked by numerical simulation.
