Abstract :
Radio-over-fiber-based distributed antenna systems promise to provide broadband indoor wireless coverage with transparency to radio communication standards and operating bands. The IEEE802.11n/ac standards approved recently with new technological features bring about a set of challenges and issues to the radio-over-fiber-based distributed antenna systems, which are addressed and discussed in this paper.
