Abstract :
When magnetic storm occured, the magnetic field fluctuations generated geomagnetically-induced currents (GIC) on the power grid. Monitoring and analysis for GIC become a new important topic. In this paper, we gave the design of the Web-based monitoring system architecture for geomagnetically-induced current, which based on the study of the developed monitoring device for GIC, by combining the technology of computer, network and communication, and the application of ASP.NET. This paper elaborates key technology in the system architecture, such as ComponentOne WebChart and Ajax.
