Abstract :
We numerically present the group-velocity-matching Cherenkov radiation and the soliton spectral tunneling effect by using the concept of soliton coupling from a local state to the eigen state. A new wavelength conversion scheme with expanded wavelength span is proposed via cascaded soliton coupling by using two-segment fibers with three zero dispersion wavelengths. Numerical results show that energy conversion about 500 nm spanning can be realized.
