In supply chain environment, the introduction of BTO brings much changes to production system. However, which operation mode is the most appropriate to the supply chain system? There is still not an accepted viewpoint in researchers and practitioners. So itpsilas necessary to consider the possible and feasible operation mode in supply chain. Through comparing the pure BTS and combined BTS & BTO in supply chain, we draw the conclusion, the performance of combined BTS & BTO is better than the pure BTS.
