Abstract :
The leading of Microsoft Windows™ in graphical user interface (GUI) has promoted the development of visual application that introduce intuitive display and entry of program data. This paper describe a unique windows GUI application that enable the user to draw a one-line diagram, enter bus and device parameters through dialog box into power system database, and simulate the engineering analysis using the capability of visualization. The application of the package is illustrated by few examples in this paper. The package will help for decision making process much faster and easier than traditional methods have previously allowed.
