Abstract
Because environmental problems are a result of the manufacture of human-made products, sharing environmental information related to products and manufacturing can help to develop a global understanding and awareness of the environmental burden. In order to generate information that can be used to compare products, the present study proposes a method for identifying environmental information at each process in the material flow up to the final product. The proposed environmental information and material information conceal the information about manufacturing processes and their know-how of products, thereby making the information easy to use.
