Abstract
A technological audit or assessment serves to review the adequacy and effectiveness of the technology management system within the enterprise. Technological audits examine all the factors relevant to the successful development and introduction of new technology. This paper presents a system for accomplishing a total enterprise technology assessment (“TETA”). This process uses an orderly sequence of activities interspersed with timely review points and is a systems approach to technology strategy and management development. The TETA provides an enterprise with a roadmap to the future with an endpoint of higher profitability coupled with productivity and quality based upon the capitalization of the infusion of advanced technology. The paper discusses the TETA process
