Abstract :
A factory uses much electric power. It generates electricity at the thermal power plant. CO/sub 2/ is discharged at the thermal power plant. Electric power can be saved if light weight work is used. Then, it can decrease CO/sub 2/ discharge. Software for light weight work was developed. Doi and Shinno reported study in the lathe processing. Therefore this study analyzed a center hole by the photoelastic method, caustics method and the finite element method.
