Abstract :
This paper describes the successful operation of limiting amplifier IC by using the digital circuit of Direct Coupled FET Logic ( DCFL). To achieve a high sensitivity and wide dynamic range, the limiting amplifier configuration is newly demonstrated. The evaluation results are the sensitivity of 10 mVpp, the wide dynamic range of 40 dB at 10 Gb/s, and 210 mW power dissipation.
