Abstract
We introduce the model of artificial emotions embedded in our architecture of emotional agents. An emotional agent also possesses rational knowledge and reactive capabilities, and is able to interact with the external world, including other agents. Emotional agents can give rise to more effective, natural, and stimulating interaction with humans. Our model and related agent architecture has been developed and applied in several multimedia-multimodal application environments
