Research on the Supporting Role of Information Integration to Supply Chain Management in Large Retail Enterprises

Information flow plays a very important role in supply chain management and provides a support for smooth operation of the supply chain. Large retail enterprises as the core enterprises play a central role in the construction of supply chain, and they need to centralize, analyze and process the scattered information in enterprises at very node and finally form integrated information stored in a database to provid convenience for all partners´ reference and interpretation and coordinate the relationship among all parties at the same time. Integrated information play a strongly supporting role in pruchasing link, logistics link, consumption link in the whole chain, which improves the comprehensive competitiveness of the whole supply chain.
