Abstract :
In this paper we describe the CO/sub 2/ emission of material, production, and recycling throughout the life cycle of Mg alloy housing of notebook PCs, and we discuss how applying the recycling technology can reduce the environmental burden. We also compare the evaluated basic unit of CO/sub 2/ emission of Mg alloy housing with that of resin housing.
