Abstract
The work presented in this paper concentrates on the development of instrumentation systems to aid the detection and analysis of broken rotor bars in three-phase induction motors. However, the use of phase current analysis to monitor other faults is well documented and the instrumentation principle proposed could be easily adopted to meet these requirements
