Abstract
Our paper presents an explicit infinite-dimensional Luenberger type observer for a class of vibrating systems. Further numerical investigation is undertaken for the observer based on a rotating Euler elastic beam system, including the eigenvalue distribution of the error system and the robustness of the observer. By using the finite element method numerical simulations are carried out to illustrate the convergence of the designed observer.
