Abstract :
This paper analyzes the applicability of the current fed push-pull topology with synchronous rectification to supply low voltage and high current DC loads. The main advantage of this topology is that self driven synchronous rectification can be easily implemented even at very low voltages (33 V, 1 V, etc.). A 66 W, 33 V laboratory prototype circuit is built and tested. Circuit operation and experimental results are presented.
