  • Abstract
Although the recently presented Double Rhombus antenna is small in size, it is still large compared to the half wavelength at the higher operating frequencies. Therefore, we proposed a modified version of the antenna to decrease its size to be close to half wavelength at the highest usable frequency, to be used in phased array applications and other wireless communications where compact size and wide bandwidth are required. The new antenna is obtained by bending part of the long dipole. In addition, a compact microstrip 180deg phase shifter is also designed to be used with the new antenna.
