  • Abstract
    This paper presents an experimental study on fault diagnosis of the sensors of a large space structure. The failure detection algorithms considered are based on the design of detection filters. Specifically, two well known techniques are implemented and compared. The first one transforms the detection problem into an equivalent eigenstructure assignment one, while the second relies on the so-called binary phase detection filter. Experimental results illustrate the effectiveness of the two methods
