Abstract :
IMG, Interferometric Monitor for Greenhouse gases, is a Michelson type Fourier Transform Infrared Radiometer on board ADEOS (Advanced Earth Observing Satellite) developed by Ministry of International Trade and Industry (Japan). IMG obtains spectra of thermal infrared radiation from the Earth´s surface and its atmosphere. The spectra of IMG showed good performances on wave number resolution, NESR, radiometric accuracy and so on. Using these data, the global map of temperature and concentration of greenhouse gases could be obtained the results of evaluation are presented
