Abstract
Like the maintenance craftsmen or engineer, the maintenance manager utilises a number of resources and tools in order to expedite his duties on a piece of equipment, although the scale of the situation will differ. This paper presents an appreciation of a number of aspects relating to the maintenance carried out at an advanced gas cooled reactor nuclear power plant, as well as highlighting the influence that the age of the plant has on this maintenance
