Abstract
Social networks became more and more important as subject of research in recent years. In this paper, a study of one Online Social Network, namely "17salsa-net" (www.17salsa.com) which is one of the biggest online social networks that providing services for salsa dancers and salsa fans in China, had been made to lay out a systematic analysis of network properties and evolution factors. Most key properties like degree distribution, clustering coefficient have been included. The study of this online social network evolution is based on the movement of network size and the roles of nodes. From these we can get the features of 17salsa-net and clear about the development of this group which members like salsa in China.
