Abstract :
Here, a resonant cavity method is used to measure the complex permittivity of materials. To increase the accuracy of the result, different approaches are merged. The measurements are performed in several frequencies to both increase the result accuracy and also obtain the dispersion characteristics of the material. The comparison of the measured data and those of the data sheet shows an excellent match. This procedure may be used for measuring and categorizing different solid and liquid materials.
