  • Abstract
    With the evolution of the electrical energy context, operating a power system today means increasingly complex decision-making. Dynamic simulations are then essential in this environment for various technical and economic reasons. To analyze precisely and faithfully the behavior of a transmission network, powerful and efficient tools are therefore necessary. The paper presents one of them, named EUROSTAG. A description of its main characteristics is followed by examples of applications of the tool in a different environment. At the operating stage, the software is used as a DSA tool. It is also incorporated in a platform that combines all the codes necessary to perform planning studies of a transmission network. A description of a new dispatching training simulator based on the same modeling scheme is explained
