Abstract :
A noninvasive technique has been developed to acquire distributed cardiac electrical activity by measuring the surface Laplacian ECG of the heart. The goal is to design an active sensor array that can be attached to the human thorax with uniform pressure. The final design consists of an array of 30 active concentric ring sensors and a lead II ECG. It must have good contact with the chest surface for the acquisition of the Laplacian ECG signal and at the same time be user friendly
