  • Abstract
This paper presents a correlation-based flowmeter for particle velocity estimation in granular dilute phase flow. A motion model considering particle trajectories in the flow, which are not parallel to the pipe axis, is used to improve the quality of the cross-correlation result and hence the robustness of the sensor. The applicability of proposed sensor conception to parameter estimation in particulate flow is discussed
