Abstract
In this paper, two models of differential GPS, which are code differential GPS and real time kinematic (RTK), are introduced, and the effects of multipath on code differential GPS and RTK are discussed. The data is collected by a Javad G80 GPS receiver. By investigating the stochastic characteristics of the data, the calculated results show that the principal causes which influence the positioning accuracy of differential GPS are multipath effects and receiver noise.
