Abstract :
Based on the analysis of the present situation of flood prevention of the coal mining industry, a hydrologic remote measurement system is developed to meet the urgent demands. With this system, the temperature and water level information of the ground water around the coal mine could be gathered efficiently. By make full use of the telecommunication network of the GSM(global system mobile communication), the system could fulfill the measuring task with a wireless way, moreover, with this system the users can simultaneously monitor the water temperatures and level information of the underground water in computers instead of manual measuring mode. The automation of gathering, transmission, examination of the measurement is realized accordingly. This system provides two transmit mode: SMS (short message service) awakens mode and GPRS transmit mode. With this system the coal mining user can promptly grasp tendency changes of the water temperature and level of the ground water, providing a safeguard for the coal mining industry.
