Abstract
Based on the tangential plane approximation and the equivalent currents on the chiral material backed by an infinite metal surface illuminated by a plane wave, the backscattering RCS (radar cross section) of dihedral corner reflectors coated with chiral material is formulated by the method of PO (physical optics), where singly, doubly, and triply reflected contributions are considered. The effect of different chiral parameters on the backscattering RCS is also discussed. Some useful conclusions are drawn.
