Abstract
With the gradual deterioration of ecological environment, urban environmental quality evaluation has become a research hotspot. This paper constructed an evaluation index system of urban environmental quality. Then index system was composed of environmental quality, pollution control and environmental construction. In view of the uncertainty and complexity in environmental quality evaluation, the paper established an evaluation model based on set pair analysis. In the model, all indexes are summarized into five-dimensional connection numbers. Then the paper developed a case study on Xiamen city. The results show that urban environmental quality conditions of Xiamen improve steadily during the period. The results can provide scientific basis for the forecasting and early-warning of urban environment and the planning of national economic development strategy. As a reasonable and convenient method, set pair analysis is a good integrated evaluation method for urban environmental quality and has broad application prospects.
