Abstract :
In this paper we evaluate the aggregate information efficiency IEA as a function of the node density for IR-UWB ad-hoc wireless sensor networks in single-hop scenarios by considering retransmission of misdetected packets. The metric of IEA was introduced and evaluated in a semi-analytical scenario.We apply the concept of the aggregate information efficiency to a packet-based network simulator with real IR-UWB nodes.
