Abstract
Focuses on the smart antennas in DS-CDMA system, and offers a novel DOA estimation algorithm based on the largest eigenvalue of the covariance matrix. Compared with MUSIC estimation algorithm, the new method has quite good stability and robustness, and has better performance under multi-path propagation circumstances. This paper presents further analysis of performance of the latest algorithm and gives a study on the effect of space smoothing.
