Abstract :
Based on the semi-classical density matrix equation and numerical iteration calculation. energy exchange in two-longitudinal-mode optically pumped FIR laser was studied theoretically. Laser output intensity was calculated and discussed in case of different operating parameters such as operating gas pressure and length of laser cavity. Finally the optimization rules were concluded.
