Abstract :
The paper described a design of steering wheel with anti-fatigue driving function. This design utilizes pattern recognition technology, was set transformer angular displacement sensor, GPS module and embedded system in the steering wheel. The transformer angular displacement sensor used to collect corner voltage changes of steering wheel. Then the embedded system executes pattern recognition to waveform that consisting by continuously varying voltage, in order to determine the driver fatigue. The system also uses changes of GPS data to determine the state in the vehicle such as stop or action, in order to control the algorithm periods of continuous driving time. Finally, the system provides early warning for fatigue driving combining these two parameters.
