Abstract :
A compact 2D FDTD algorithm is presented for the analysis of a ferrite-loaded waveguide shifter and applied to compute the field distributions in a nonreciprocal remanence phase shifter, then dispersive performance of the phase shifter is obtained by means of a Fourier transform. Numerical results with good agreement of those obtained by other methods demonstrate the validity of this algorithm.
