Abstract :
The conventional Doppler ultrasound spectral estimation method is regarded as a narrowband estimator (NBE). In this paper, a new wideband power spectral estimation method (WEE) is presented, which combines spectral estimation with phase detection by the time-domain cross-correlation method (CCM). Its superiority to that of the NBE has been shown by the computer simulation results
